Diana DOES have an appreciation for certain virtues despite being a bit of a free spirit. While Steve Rogers could similarly fall into this category due to his occasional boy scout ways, he has been known to set aside his patriotism and stand purely for what's right. Captain America has not had much success with dating other superheroes (Scarlet Witch and Wasp, for example), but then, neither has Wonder Woman since she has been known to call Superman a "cop" in terms of his nature. Both also have a thing for strong women, as witnessed by Steve Trevor's interest in Wonder Woman and Steve Roger's interest in Peggy Carter and Sharon Carter. Both are perceived as hero figures, although Steve Rogers has more going in his favor heroically considering his special abilities. They are both soldiers who fought against the Nazis in World War II. These include multiple similar professions amongst all three and an appreciation for certain values.įor starters, both Steves have very similar backgrounds. However, Steve Trevor and Steve Rogers share a few similarities that could help argue Captain America's case for being a solid romantic partner for Wonder Woman. The two have mutually agreed that they are not a couple that belongs together. She has dated fellow superheroes before, including Superman.

Wonder Woman's usual love interest is Steve Trevor, but a different Steve from another comic universe may actually be a better fit for her. Within the issue, this "heroine" fawns over Charlie America, who is an absolute coward, making him seem more heroic than he actually is. He interacts with Wondrous Woman, an absurd version of DC's Wonder Woman. In the issue, a spoof variant of Captain America - Charlie America - reveals his origin story. Not Brand Echh #3 has the creative team of Stan Lee, Roy Thomas, and Tom Sutton.
WONDER WOMAN SEASON 1 NAZIS SERIES
Marvel's spoof series may be a gag, but it raises an interesting comparison between Wonder Woman's love interests. Stan Lee certainly thought so when writing the third issue of Not Brand Echh. While it's highly unlikely to happen, and their love story would be doomed to end, Captain America and Wonder Womanwould be a better pairing than Diana with Superman.

Not one single bullet hit a single American.
